Even though I'm a new member to these boards, I send my condolences to his family and friends. Judging from what you guys have been saying about him, I seem to have really missed out on meeting a great man, husband and father.

Things like this make you realize that you shouldn't take anything or anyone for granted.

May he rest in peace.

The good thing about forums is the database.

I suggest, search his name and have a look at some of the threads he was defending the Titans honor (ha!) in. He'd stand up for himself for sure, and some of the back and to comments were hilarious.

Man, he would have been unbearable at the moment (I could have seen an "AJ not best receiver in AFC South, nevermind NFL" thread created by him), and then in a few weeks after he realizes that Tennessee also isn''t New England he'd have got it.

Definitely hope he gets ESPN though....need to get the live coverage of Randy's next meltdown interview.

Well I would suspect (given the fact that he could be critical of VY) he might say something like: "Randy Moss is a nice pick-up but would good is he when our QB can't get the ball to him."

Disclaimer: Gary, this isn't directed at you. Looks like you might have taken some friendly fire already and I'm not trying to add to it.

When a young guy dies from a heart attack, it hits home with guys older than or around the same age.

It makes us wonder why it happened and what we could do to keep it from happening to us. Sorry man, we can't help it.

Go look at Hou-Tex's thread from a few weeks back for an example.

To me, a.) thoughts and prayers b.) remembering the departed and and c.) talking about how we can avoid mortality ourselves are natural reactions to this kind of thing. This is the same kind of stuff that we talk about at funerals.

Before my next doctor's visit, I'll probably search this thread again to find Bill's quote again so I'll know what to get checked.

I personally don't see what's wrong with comments like the above one. Apparently some people do and want to start arguing over it in this thread of all places. To them, I'd suggest going back and deleting the argumentative comments and try to make this thread the memorial that Blazing Arrow deserves.

I like having fans from other teams as regulars on this board and relating to them as other people (instead of the enemy.) Having said that, Blazing Arrow's departure has left a real void on this board.
