We took a lot of heat from some people when Barrett wrote this article. But, I think it is worth a re-visit after watching him run the ball the past two months, either from the backfield or on kickoffs. It seems clear to me that he is severely lacking confidence in his health: whether it is in his head or is real, I can not say.

His grandma died. It was in all of his tweets. Also, the drug sweep took place like over a month ago.

It's been a tough couple of years for Steve Slaton let's hope he can turn things around & be a healthy, happy & productive Texan

I'm hoping that the extra week off gives his teammates a chance to take his spot on the kick returns. I'm hoping that his dropping down on the depth charts both at RB and KR will light a fire and he'll start playing better.

I haven't been in the loop lately. What is the deal with Slaton. I thought he had a neck injury which was causing fumbling issues ...but I thouht he'd recovered.
It looks like he doesn't run with the energy and confidence he did. Two seasons ago, he was the most exciting back in the league to watch. You can't fake that! If he is healthy, maybe he should seeing a sports psychologist. Speaking of sports psychologist, has anyone heard how Leinart is progressing? Those are two talented athletes, when healthy ... but you have to have heart and your head screwed on straight. Thanks for any info.
