I hated it too, but wtf was JDR doing calling his timeouts? The whole thing was just awful to watch. The game desperately needed to end.

The story that's going around is that both coaches were asked by the league to use time outs in order to give sponors a change to run commercials. The league is denying it...after the negative public reaction, of course.
