The Giants have placed the five-year veteran on injured reserve on Thursday with a herniated cervical disk after waiting more than a month to see if rest would fix his neck.

With his contract up after this season, it’s unknown whether the Giants are willing to re-sign a player with a neck problem.

That sucks for him. The good news for the Giants is they haven't missed him. They actually started playing better after he went down.

It would be nice if the Texans could do the same after losing Ryans.
