Are the Texans Soft? - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

I used to think Michael Lombardi was nothing but moron.....well, I still do, but he called the Texans soft last season. He began climbing on our bandwagon up until this past week. He's calling us soft again and can't beleive he was thinking otherwise.

Lombardi's a dork, but I'm kinda beginning to agree with the "soft" title.

YES, the Texans are soft on the O-line (Myers) and D-line (Okoye and Cody) though we've got good LB's. Kubiak has elected to go with lighter weight players on both lines with the idea that they'll be quicker, he's forgotten that big guys can be quick as well.

I would say no since we did go into Maryland and pull out the W against the Skins. But the Giants smacked us in the mouth, and we thanked them for it.

This team isnt soft. They are just bi-polar.

Man, what a sad day to realize that our beloved hometown team has devolved into being considered soft again.

Hopefully the team hears this message and proves otherwise against the Chefs.

I really enjoyed watching the Jets defense last night. I wish the Texans would be that aggressive.

This defense is going to be soft as long as our interior d-line sux like it has. I mean seriously, that is the core of our defense, Cody and Okoye. Give me a couple of beasts in the middle of the line please.
