Quick question re: Draft Day Trade - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

What do you guys think the possibility of trading up to #10 would be using our #13 and Sharper? Since the Lions were rumored to be high on Heath Miller but are looking to improve their D wouldn't such a deal allow them to have their cake and eat it too? They get the guy they wanted (for less money) and they get an (proven) immediate starter for their middle linebacker. If Shaper has indeed lost a step, they can let him walk at the end of the season and they haven't really given up much. For the Texans such a trade allows them to draft either Merriman or DJ. Hell, if we got lucky we might be able to force something from the Cowboys if they were set on Merriman themselves. Just a thought, what do you think?

I think this could happen. Do I think it will happen? No. Alot of things could happen, this being one of them. You can speculate all you want, but until april 24th, its going to be very murky.

Detroit just signed Pollard, so I doubt they're still planning on taking Miller...

I agree not only did they sign pollard but Miller isnt predicted til mid teens early 20's and thats a long way to drop. I dont think many teams have the resources to rise that high up.
