Impossible to give it to one player this week.
Matt Schaub: Nearly 500 yards and three TDs Mario Williams: 3 Sacks and what a beast Andre Johnson: TD on 4th and ten with a jump ball in the end zone after leaving the game with an ankle sprain? Are you kidding me? Bernard Pollard: A game-saving blocked field goal. Can't overstate the importance of this. Just huge. Neil Rackers: Hate to give a game ball to a guy for just doing his job, but this was clutch and last year we might not get so lucky. Did I leave anyone out? |

The first four get a game ball, yup. Not sure about Rackers. Would definitely give KW a game ball before him. AJ we know is a beast, but KW did his best impression of one today. He was clutch, and really stepped up when the team was hurting and AJ was getting treatment.

I know one play doesn't deserve a game ball........
And it doesn't need a thread all its own..... but thanks to Dreesen for that clutch catch in OT that set up our winning field goal. |

He didn't get 231 yards, he didn't get 100 yards....
but he had the 2nd biggest reception of the game that put us in position to score a TD in the last seconds of the 3rd quarter. Arian Foster. |

KW did have a mammoth game and that catch by Dreesen was huge as well.

I would have to give it to Andre though, just a massive game. Game tying TD, dominating throughout the game. It's tough though because Matt had a great game as well and so did Mario. Pollard saved the game and without that block kick Texans most likely lose. |

I think Leach made two really huge catches. Mario made sacks when we needed them. Kubiak with the clutch time out. Schaub and Aj and Walters get props. JJ also made a few clutch plays. Also, on the 4th down td, either Caldwell or Briesel made a reallly HUGE block.

I was thinking about this last night and it's tough to decide between the first four, But I know with out that amazing block that pollard provided on that field goal attempt that win would not have been possible.
Who did get the game ball?

Dont forget the clutch defended passes by Willliams. He was the best weapon in our secondary today. 3 sacks and 2 PDs. Wow

I think a win like this is not because of one particular player standing out. Everyone made plays on both side of the ball.
We wouldn't be in OT without Pollard, and we wouldn't be in OT without the Schaub / Johnson TD on 4th down. To me, the game ball goes to Schaub. He got punished, some of it his own fault, but he stood in there, took numerous shots, and won. Every Titan fan talks about VY being a winner, but I think Schaub is a better winner. Despite getting wailed on throughout the game, he played extremely solid and picked apart the Redskins. To me this is the play that elite QBs make, and Schaub is removing doubts about his durability and his status as a first tier elite QB. |

Game ball goes to Andre...leaving the game with a bum ankle and then coming back in was huge. Just having him on the field demands so much attention from the defense. This is why he is a great leader and why Bob gave him a huge new contract. In AJ we trust!
Did I mention his catch to tie the game?

I think you'd be okay giving anybody the game ball.......except the secondary, of course.

2nd most combined passing yardage (by less than ten yards) in NFL history. Bad day to be a CB.

I know AJ has a room full of game balls but after going into the tunnel with an injury and coming back out and telling coach that he's playing and then making that catch....all those other guys that rightfully deserve a game ball (Pollard, Schaub, KW, Mario) that's the tie-breaker for me.
I'm glad this man is a Texan for life!!
