Cheer up! One's and two's looked really good. The Cards played a lot of their starters much longer. Wells was in the game in the 4th qtr.

That's what I thought also. I told my son-in-law that Beanie Wells was a starter for the Cards, and he was still in the game when our 3rd stringers were STRUGGLING! Bennett should have been gone last year, IMHO.

Just a lot of scrubs playing for a dream that won't come true when it's all over and done. Pink slips will start flying pretty soon!

I was hoping Dan O would come back in so we could see how he reacts to that situation if he was ever needed for it.

Thats one thing that makes me wonder actually. Why don't teams ever sit their 1st team offense, and try and give them a more manufactured game time experience?

For example, if you gain possession with a lot of field, with the 2 minute warning coming up...why not throw them in there (as thats more likely to be a rusty area of play, that can win games, or at least give big momentum shifts).

For for example, with the Texan's play in the past, why not give them a run when he ball gets to the opponents 30/20 yard line, and get some red zone offensive time.

Granted, it'd be hard to get 1st string playing 1st string....but just an idea.
