If they are trying to steer clear of controversial political figures, that should apply to those on the left as well as those on the right.

Awesome news! I never watched due to his idiocy. I'd change the channel, mute the tv or go do something at halftime. He's just one of those guys I want to punch in the face for no given reason. Like Randy in Step-Brothers who didn't like Brennan's face.

He galvanized himself too far left to appeal to an audience that mostly resides in red states.

Plus his tone and persona had a faux high society arrogance, even while mispronouncing players' names during his halftime segment. I'm sure he never caught the irony of this, but irony is lost on whacko liberals like Olbermann anyway.

....I still watched it, but the show went down hill for me when he got on there...He just didn't fit, kinda like dennis miller on the monday night crew..
