1. Chris Hovan- had an off year and has worn down in the second half of the season, but if he gets back to form he will be just as good as Payne even though he would play end. That would give G.Walker some rest and him and Payne can split time at NT.
2. Courtney Brown- Same as Hovan excpet Brown has been hurt alot, but for the right price why not get a young filler. When healthy he is a good end and would fit our system well. 3. Floyd Womack- A possible O-linemen who could easily step in for Wiegert who is a bit of a dissapointment So Texan faithful what do you think of these possible FA pickups |

Hovan is lazy.
Brown is a first round pick of the Browns. Enough said. Womack.... never heard much of him, so I'll spare him. |

We already picked up a player from the browns in L.Sanders, and Hovan needs to be motivated, brown is a first round pick of the browns, but carr is a first round pick of the Texans and we have been a whopping stick so who cares if the kid can play and stay motivated why not take a shot. Are we not taking an expensive shot on M. Greenwood.

Hovan is supposedly a lock to go to Arizona...
Cleveland wants to re-sign Brown, they just released him to get more cap money... Womack would be a decent pick-up, but he seems to have had a few nagging lower leg injuries through his career...Doesn't look like he had any last season, though...He's worth a shot...

I thought Hovan was strictly a 1-gap guy. When he actually tries, he is quick. But he doesn't have the power to play NT in a 3-4. The Vikes are my #2 team and I've seen Hovan as just a lot of hype. He's an effort guy and without any effort, he isn't even worth a roster spot.
Brown is interesting, though. But he isn't worth an expensive shot without a bunch of injury clauses in his contract. |

The only player I would take is Womack, he is versitile and can play G or T. He never had enough time to develop at one spot on the line since he had to play LT for the entire pre season because Walter Jones would hold out.

I thought it was because they double teamed him. I still remember that double spin he did to blow past two Patriot blockers.

Ive heard that he is available for cheap compensation...I think he would be a welcome addition to the backfield, if we dont take anyone in the draft

Bring brown in on a 1 year minimum deal. have him back up the ends, at 290 he has the size to play end in a 3-4.

Burress wants no. 1 money. No one in the NFL wants to spend No. 1 money on a No. 2. Except for maybe Dan Snyder.

Burress is asking for around the same amount Muhsin Muhammad got from the Bears.

Burress fired his agent and he can't hire another one for at least 5 days. Rumor has it that he is going to hire Rosenhous as his agent. I didn't want the Texans to sign him before, and now I definately don't.
