UDFAs - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

Went to the Texans website and didn't see them listed there. Where would one find who they are? (Coulda swore I saw them on the bottom of the roster a few days ago?)

My question is this. How are they paid? Do they sign like an open ended contract that pays them through the day they are cut? Sign a new contract if they make the team? Aren't paid unless they make the team and are on their own until then? And what kinda money range would one expect to be paid? Position relative?

Inquiring mind.

Typically sign league minimum contracts. That amount is paid as game day checks. Prior to that there is a standard amount paid to each player from a UDFA to AJ for attending off-season activities. So go to OTA's and training camp then get cut you'll make a few grand each week but never get any of the league minimum contract salary.
