I just watched all these highlights and never noticed how much we need steve slaton! The way he ran in the raiders game was great. Owen Daniels also was a key. I can't believe we actually stayed alive without those guys.

Seeing the 2nd Colts game live I have barely watched highlights for it. The highlights do a good job showing just how brutal that game was.

i prefer the radio calls highlights on nfl.com. not only because they're more exciting & enthusiastically called (bar when gus johnson is announcing) but they're longer and more in depth.

I enjoy Vandermeer's call (What, I said it!) a lot, but there is no more awesome than a Gus Johnson call.

Looking back at this, i think that Pats game might be the game that allows us to turn that corner next year. We showed alot of courage and heart during that comeback, and although things might have been different had Brady stayed in, that was a big win for us.

And another thing coming to mind, I still really hate the Colts and Bengals for folding.

I really hate that the Texans played patty-cake with the Jags last year when they were a superior team.

A couple of observations after watches these now that I've been able to back away from the NFL for a while:

1. Hey Atlanta good luck. These highlights should have been all you needed to see if you should pick up Dunta. This was a highlight reel for the other teams against #23. Every game had him doing the "Flying Dunta", that move where he would just dive, but was already burned big time. I want a CB in the 1st round, but we needed to do that even if we kept Dunta for $400,000 a year!!!!

2. Chris Johnson is a freak of a running back, but man the Titans sure get away with a lot of holding. Reminds me of the Cheifs when they were running the hell out of the ball. There line men are really talented at holding and getting away with it. Hell of an O-Line Coach I guess.

3. Forgot about all the BS at the end of the game on Monday night. That should have been a 34 yard attempt of the FG because of unsportsman like conduct, and right in front of the Official, WTF!!!! Oh well Kris probably would have shanked it anyway!!!!


4. Wow the Defense really improved. If we can build off of that maybe it won't put us in such a hole in the first 4 weeks since the Offense always struggles early in the season.

5. Can you imagine this team if the O-Line was healthy and #81 was healed, and #20 gets rid of the fumbles, and #12 continues to mature, and #86 develops. What a Juggernaut of a Team Houston could be..........

This makes me miss football at Reliant!

I CAN'T wait until we revenge that OT loss to the titans, still hard to watch the highlights.

O ya and Andre Johnson is insane,silly,out of this world,spectacular, the list goes on..
