Too many times, the media always focuses on the big names of any franchise, and there are many players that have played that were Pretty Damn Good in their own right.. So the question is:
Who is a former Texans player that you want fans of other teams to know about? I plan to do a show called "The Hall of Very Good" which will include a team by team pick of "Who You Should Know About" |

Kailee Wong, linebacker for the Texans from 2002 through 2006. Hard-working, unselfish, and solid football player. Not a Pro Bowler but a heck of a football player.

Thirded! (Although it's not an absolute given that he's done as a Texan)

He's not a Houston Texan right now. He should be drawing unemployment at this point. It is also not an absolute given that Gaffney, Robinson or even Carr... ya know.... *shudders*... ... ... just sayin'.

I understand, and I'm not disagreeing with the statement that he's not currently a Texan, but there is a little difference between his current situation, and the situations of the 3 other former Texans you mentioned.

DT Seth Payne. Haven't had a good DT since he left.

Out of players not already mentioned:
I always liked Jason Simmons for his versatility. Not an all star, but definitely a team player/contributor while he was here.

Yes. The most under-appreciated player in Texans history.

Domanick Davis
Seth Payne Chester Pitts Jamie Sharper I'd say Aaron Glenn but he was a multiple pro-bowler. He got his kudos.
