Janikowski is good, but he is also getting old. I wouldn't have considered him for my wish list. If the Raiders are guaranteeing $9 million, hope it works out for them. It certainly hints on a vote of confidence.

Last year Kris Brown was very valuable to the team and kicks were on the money, but this year an entirely different story. It would be great if it works out, but 4 years is quite a risk IMO.

I agree with the guys this morning...what an idiotic move. Teams aren't giving out any big contracts right now because of the labor agreements, etc and here is Al making sure he has the highest paid punter and kicker. A kicker that can be radically inconsistent at times. Way to wrap up 25 mil with the bonus.

I think most around here know my thoughts on kickers. This is absolutely absurd! The dude kicks and then sits with 0 contact what so ever, yet he's paid more than beasts like D-Ryans, OD, Cribbs, etc. Good grief!
