New blog on Texans/NFL coming.

Hey, been a while since I've had a chance to be on the board. I've been crazy busy with a bunch of stuff. One of those things is that I have gotten involved with a group that runs some local based online newspapers. These papers are going to be up and running very soon. We're for sure launching one here in Austin and planning on having one set up for Houston and San Antonio.

Let's just say that I'm very close to the people in charge and they know how deep I am into sports, and they want to tap into that in the form of a sports section in their papers. The main chieftans up in New York may have me do some national stuff too, but that will be down the road possibly.

So, I'll of course be covering all Houston teams and the Spurs and Horns too. I've been a member of this board for years (used to be under H-Town Balla #90 and I think a name before that too until I lost both log in's) and I would like to invite all of you to read my stuff. I know that some of you already do the same thing either professionally or on the side like I'm trying to do, so I'd love feedback.

What I have posted so far is basically some demo stuff to feel it out and get some editing stuff down. Keep in mind I'm still a little new at this, but I have a real editing pro who used to work for MSNBC in NYC helping me out.

The main page at www.austincapitaltimes.com is still going under a little construction though. Should have a Houston and San Antonio paper opened soon including my stuff on it. Will post with any updates.
