after reading every ones opinon i decided to make another one and then wait two weeks for another
i no yall like the corrner for the 1st round pick but im thinking value wise this draft to start of im drafting safty !!!!!!!first round pick!!!!!!!! safty Earl Thomas,, Texas Height: 5-10. Weight: 195. the reason i went safty here is because he is great value pick plus rick smith recently said in the confrence that we are not deplinished at corner so that makes me think that we may get one later in the draft tomas is a solid pick if he makes it to us expect great things the only problem is his size !!!!!!!!secound round pick!!!!!!! corner Perrish Cox, Oklahoma State Height: 5-11. Weight: 189. a big corner that has speed but after watching tape he covers #1 recivers with ease a great pick up here !!!!!!!third round pick!!!!!!!! center! Matt Tennant, Boston College Height: 6-5. Weight: 300. Combine 40 Time: 5.16. Benchx225: 27. Arm: 32 1/4. a big time center i decided not to get a defencive tackel this early because of him plus dt's are stackd this year if he gets to us in the 3rd round get prepaird to snag him i see him maby sliding into the 4th round but not makeing it to us in the 4th !!!!!!4th round pick!!!!!!!! runing back Ben Tate, Auburn Height: 5-11. Weight: 220. Combine 40 Time: 4.45. Benchx225: 26. Vertical: 40.5. Broad: 10-4 this guy is fast for his size im hopeing we get him i have to say after watching film he is much beter then blount !!!!!!!5th round pick!!!!!!!!!! wide reciver Shay Hodge, Ole Miss Height: 6-1. Weight: 209. Combine 40 Time: 4.57. this would make any texan proud as a senior he had with 70 grabs, 1,135 yards and eight touchdowns. he will become the #2 wr in a couple years maby even this year and with kevin gone this will be a major concern !!!!6th rouynd pick!!! defencive tackle Jay Ross, East Carolina Height: 6-3. Weight: 314. Projected 40 Time: 5.14. he is some 1 to work up he had Finished the year with 4.5 TFL and 1.5 sacks the only reason im takeing a defencive tackle late round is that some times you dont need preshure if we can cover well and make shur the wrs are not open then maby our de's / dt's will get to the qb even tho yall may call me stupid just think of earl tomas pollard demeco cushing cox quin mario barwin and smith we would be stacked !!!!!6th pick from tj trade!!!! kicker Aaron Pettrey, Ohio State Height: 6-2. Weight: 198. he was 7-of-8 in 2008, but he connected on 6-of-7 tries from beyond 40 yards. He hit two 50-yarders, including one from 54. i saw brown's time here is done 7th round pick ot Adam Ulatoski, Texas Height: 6-5. Weight: 300. Projected 40 Time: 5.21. Combine 40 Time: 5.53. Benchx225: 24. Arm: 33 1/4. he improved nothing else to say injoy |

its not my best mock but i did try to get major concerns done 1st i do think kevin leaves and we will drop down alot in offencive ranking so thats why i got a wide reciver before defencive tackle

I like the idea of taking a Center somewhere in the mid-rounds. Can't stand to watch Clauseen but one reason he got the ball out quickly was his Center Eric Olson. Kind of the opposite combo of Caldwell who is more guard than center, so center is his first position but can add value @ OG. He is something of a personality, has a competitive fire & his grade could be viewed even more positive from a locker room, character Rick Smith talks so much about. Biggest plus is he is athletic enough but has a stout frame if he keeps his knee flex can stop a bull rush, thats something missing here. Stonger than I thought, think he lifted something like 35 reps.
Anyway I would put him in 4th & move up Tate to 3rd. |

Good Job... I agree with badboy, I'd rather have J.D. Walton but if not available then I'll take Tennant. If Tate is available in the 4th then he's a steal. You addressed our most important needs early with quality talent and although they're not the players I would have picked, they're very good talent. I'm not sure if Ulatoski will be available in the 7th round but at least you addressed the needed depth at OT. Good Job.
Yes this probably is your best mock. You've done well grasshopper. |

However, you mis-graded a couple of these guys in your mock. Earl Thomas (1st) - He could fall so he is very get-able during the 1st. Great pick. Perrish Cox (2nd) - His stock has been higher and has also been lower, but i think he will be available. Also a great pick. Matt Tennant (3rd) - His stock has improved since the Senior Bowl and I think he is a fringe 2nd-3rd round prospect. He could still be available by our pick though. Another great pick. Ben Tate (4th) - I thought he was a fringe 3rd-4th round pick, but after the combine he is a sure fire 3rd round pick. Won't be available in the 4th. Shay Hodge (5th) - I'm not really a fan of his. There are other WR's I would look at this late. Jay Ross (6th) - He has a lot of value because of the weak late-round DT/NT class. I think he is gone in the 5th. Aaron Pettrey (6th) - Best Kicker in the draft I think. Yet another great pick. Adam Ulatowski (7th) - Not a fan of his and I don't think he translates well to our system in the NFL. Overall a good mock though.
