"The Texans are going to hire a new strength and rehabilitation coach. Ray Wright, who was elevated last year when Dan Riley was fired, was let go after the season."

I wonder why they decided to fire Ray Wright? A S&T coach is very important to a team, and probably one of the the most underrated aspects of a team. I wonder who we will get next?

It's nice to see we're just now getting the news. I suppose McFatty's too busy choking down Big Macs and rubbing one out on his neat little Cook County hat.

After hearing nothing but positive things all off-season about Wright, I'm surprised by this too. It'd be nice to get some sort of explanation as to why he was let go.

Wonder why RJ didn't jump all over this. He is all over S&T coaches.

I wish we could get Mad Dog from UT to be our S&C coach, that guy takes twigs and turns them into tree trunks (e.g. Brian Orakpo was 6'4" 210-220-lbs when he was at UT and left as a big 260-lbs beast)

Maybe, it's because our OL and DL tend to be pushed around often enough that there might be a concern, you think?

Whoever is hired for the position should get Myers into the gym immediately for lots of offseason very intensive workouts so that he can put on 15 lbs. of muscle before next season. I 2nd the vote for Jillians Michaels.

Because RJ was butt buddies with Riley and he had a personal interest in defending him. Ray Wright didn't work with the Redskins when Dickface covered them in DC so he doesn't care about him.

His bio said everything to me with those two years at Gold's Gym in Phoenix.

I have looked for the last twenty minutes as well, and can't find anything on him outside of his bio. He knows our staff, this makes perfect sense to me as Kubiak is going with his guys into year 5.
