Well you can scratch Ponder off that list. Doesn't matter how good he is, his team won't win enough games for him to be considered.
You can scratch Masoli off as well if the rumors are true. Just read that he was arrested for theft. Given his history, if that is true he is done. Not that it really matters. McCoy was the only guy in last year's preseason top five that even got near a sniff of the trophy. |

A bit of a homer take, but I wonder if Tech can improve on the 2009 season can Josh Nesbitt make a run? He put up similar numbers to Massoli this year, will be in his third season in the 3O, and if he can lead Tech to an 11 or 12 win season and put up a slightly better statistical season than this one you'd have to think he'll get some run.
The catch is that he won't have the passing numbers expected from a QB. I just wonder if the rushing yards, TD, and wins would supercede that? |
