Anyone have any idea when we will know? I remember this same scenario happened a few years ago when we had the same SOS as the Bears. We won the flip that year.

The flips usually take place at the combine or the March league meetings.

I'm not sure what's worse.... the 50,000 mock drafts before the draft, or the 3 months between the draft and TC.

Its gotta be the mocks - they started a while ago ..... some of them are downright rediculous with first round guy's going in the 7th round.

And let's not forget how the NFL Draft is going to be split over 3 days now. That has to be one of the worst changes made to the NFL under Goodell.

The draft party that we have on that Saturday isn't going to be the same.

Gene Washington steps to the podium and says with the 60th pick in the NFL draft the Houston Texans select some guy from some small school that nobody has ever heard of.

I don't see how the draft going prime time is such a negative. it just means some of us will burn a couple vacation days, head on down Kirby for festivities/cheerleaders, party like a rock star, maybe get a room be back on time for the weekend rituals that used to get in the way of the draft.

I think the coin flip ceremony will be held during the NFL Combine, if I'm correct, it should be a rather pompous affair.



Naw, doesn't matter because the Falcons needs are different from ours anyways.

I know what you mean, but I definitely want a pick before the Falcons, as they have a lot of the same needs as the Texans.

I guess it doesn't count since we traded down, but we did select Duane Brown at #26...
