I'm pretty sure that all fines do go to charities.

I know I'm a DRob hater now, but wow what a guy he donated the fine he paid to a great charity that he had to pay no matter what. That's kind of like saying that I will donate my taxes to the federal government!!!!!

That was the last big paycheck he'll ever recieve, I'd hang on to it if I was him. After this year, he'll be lucky to get a quarter of that.

oh, someone is going to pay him. there is a 'pay me, rick' out there waiting to sign him.

it probably won't work out for him but I could see a team give him as much if not just slightly less than he was asking for from the Texans. There is a sucker born every day.

This wasn't an NFL-levied fine. If it was, he would have had to petition Roger Goodell, not Rick Smith or McNair. This particular fine came from the Texans' org. so I'm thinking the money could have gone back into the Texan's coffers.

I'm pretty sure the Texans donate their fine money to charity also. I remember reading/watching about this a few years ago but don't remember the specific article or video.
