Rex Grossman
What has he done to entice another team to sign him as a free agent this off season? Nothing in my opinion. So does he get another offer ala Sage Rosenfels to back up Matt Diddy? Or do we cut him and look for another project? Or since Schaub basically made it through 3/4 of season do we go with Dan O. and back to the old philosophy of two QBs on roster and one on Practice Squad?

You just let Rex's contract expire. Dan was/is suppose to be the backup of the future and guy we are suppose to groom going forward. Who knows if thats the case.

waste of roster spots. I really liked what I saw from Dennis Dixon (Pittsburgh) try & swap out their choice of QB's. Then you use him on on special teams, gunner or returns, maybe some wildtexan? you clear three roster spots & get more dynamic.

Keep developing Dan-O and bring in a veteran to push him for the backup job... stash a rookie QB on the PS if there's any interest in one

If you can get him again at vet minimum (and I don't see why you couldn't) then I bring Grossman back and work with him another year. That's what I do.
