QB start: Schaub or Favre - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

Ok, I've got both of these gunslingers in my team. Schaub has been the season start, but up against the Colts, and after Favre's weekend last week, I'm tipping towards Favre for this week.

My extreme-homerism tells me not to do it (although I do have AJ as well, so that can compensate for a big Houston offensive day if I leave out Schaub).

I know AP is ill, but should play, and they surely won't give Favre as much to do two weeks in a row?

Suggestions....I'm desperate for a win to keep in the playoff hunt.

Start Brett Farve because I think he'll play great tomorrow. I say Matt plays well too but I am concened about the game with Manning at the helm for Indy. He and Dallas always have a field day against the Texans. For those of you who have Dallas you should start him for sure. Samething goes for Manning if you have him on your team.

Good point. That tips it for me...I'm sticking with Matty.

Call it homerism, warn me about playing FF with the heart over the head, but screw it, I'm sticking with Houston today.

Funny, went with Farve last week and it got me into playoffs. Now exact same scenario. Schaub vs. Jags or Farve vs. Arizona???

The Jags secondary is terrible, but Arizona just gave up 400 yards to Vince Friggin Young.

I don't think you can go wrong either way.

I'd probably go Favre, but the Jags are giving up more TDs.

So, yeah... that probably wasn't much help.
