Default Biggest rip-offs in the NFL

Interesting to see some names brought up here in the past for possible FA's...

fox sports

Interesting to see who number 8 is....

I'll provide you number 9 is for those that don't wanna click the link.

Quote:
. Houston QB Dan Orlovsky

The Texans signed Orlovsky to a three-year, $9.15 million contract with $2.4 million guaranteed believing he could replace Rosenfels as Matt Schaub's backup. Orlovsky, though, is mired in the same third-string role as Rosenfels is in Minnesota. Orlovsky lost his second-string spot in the preseason to Rex Grossman (?!?) and hasn't won it back. We may now never know whether Orlovsky has learned where the back of the end zone is

At the bottom of the page it gets better.

Biggest NFL Bargains

Quote:
8. Cincinnati RB Cedric Benson

Houston made a huge mistake by not signing Benson after he visited in March during the first week of free agency. Cincinnati ultimately re-upped with Benson on a two-year, $7 million contract while the Texans stuck with the three-headed running back combination of Steve Slaton, Chris Brown and Ryan Moats. With 969 rushing yards in 10 games, Benson has paced Cincinnati to the NFL's sixth-ranked ground attack. Houston is 29th with an 88.7-yard average. The Texans also have only three runs of 20-plus yards compared to Cincinnati's 11.

It's because Benson doesn't block. That's all RB's are good for.

I think he's played well. I would like to see Dunta on that list first. Also, I don't think our run game would have been that much better with Benson. Our line gets little push and opens fewer holes. How come we are the only team mentioned in the list. By my estimations, every other team had a chance at him and did nothing.
