When I saw this girl's expression, it embodied EVERYTHING I was thinking
while watching this game!

Any chance you could resize that to be at or under 100px by 100px?
Thanks!

Hey Dex,
Go ask THAT girl what she thinks about Kubiak returning next season.

Think someone already had that as his/her avatar, but it does not take away from exactness of her facial expression

Can you shorten it to right before she reaches for that sign?
Just so that it shows her face?

I think fans are about 50-50, which is fitting for Kubiak's 8-8 streak.

Thank goodness that girl wasn't crying like OU fan or she would be board fodder for many of our rivals.

That OU one is awesome, but I still love the one of the little blonde kid the most. The girl above just looks sad. The kid in that famous pick during the RRS looks like someone just ran his dog over in front of him.
Uh, not that that would be funny, but you know what I mean. I'm not a jerk, I swear!

LOL, I think I saw something along those lines the other day (George Lopez maybe?) when the boss walked in and said, "I was looking for funny-sad, not sad-sad."
<-- (is that new?)

Improvement on offense aside, every season is bigger than just "improving" in any statistical category. It's about winning. Some teams win ugly, but they just find a way to win (Baltimore comes to mind). This team is not a winner. And I don't think one more year is going to somehow magically bring out the best in the team. You can sense that the players are trying, but they have that finger on the big red button already.

I actually saw it and was sad. All the talk makes me forget how hard sports losses can be on kids who have a purity about what sports are about.

Kubiak haters can't deny we've had our best four drafts in Texans history
since he's been here. I'd rather keep our trend of good drafts going, and let Kubiak learn from his mistakes, than blow the whole squad up and return to the "One-or-Two-Good-Players-Per-Draft" trend. As long as our squad keeps improving, I'm game. We ain't the Browns, or Chiefs, or Seahawks. This squad is young, and they are improving. Keep the trend of improvement going, and we'll be a good, DEEP team. |

I dislike the term "Kubiak hater". I do not think it is hateful to feel that Kubiak has taken this team as far as he can take it. The evidence is mounting against him much more than it is accumulating in his favor.
Obviously, let the season play out and see where we're at when it's over. Let's see how this team - KUBIAK'S TEAM - responds to three tough losses and a restless fanbase. But let's not wear blinders or tinted glasses in our end-of-season evaluations of the head coach, his staff, and the team that they have put together. I hope in hindsight we see a team that fought through the adversity and critics to go on a 5 game win streak for a 10-6 record. Make or miss the playoffs with that record, I could see a solid case to keep Kubiak. But lose 3 out of the next 5, and that case will be built on sand. JMO |
