Carson Butler
Anybody know anything about this guy? Texans gave him a workout last week but obvisiosly there was not a TE need then. Pass catching TE with decent size. Had 2 fairly productive years, and then punched a fan and fell into coach doghouse while at University of Michigan. Bounced around a few practice squads. Maybe a little too raw for what we need, but maybe not.

Who da thunk that with Daniels and Dreeson already on the team, and after drafting 2 more tight ends, with all four of them making the team . . . that we'd still be looking to bring in someone off the street . . . with half the season to go yet? Crazy. |
