Not sure if Bruener is still in shape, but he could fill in right away. Other ones I wouldn't mind looking at are Jeb Putzier and Leonard Pope. Not sure if you guys have any opinions or a better list. Not sure who is out on the practice squads. Man I am going to miss OD.

So I don't believe this list is accurate as Desmond Clark still plays for the Bears correct? Anyone have a better list?

Some caller on 610 am had an excellent point. Conner Barwin has far more experience as a TE than DE. As an emergency measure until Casey gets back at least try him out.

The Rockets could use some help too.

All joking aside, that's an interesting proposition. He was never really a starter at TE, but he had two seasons before converting to "D".

so Ernest Wilford is a TE now? explains a lot.

I think he's back with the Jags, actually. They were talking about him in the game we lost to them. Said he was always too slow to play WR, but had all other parts of the game down. So he bulked up and is trying his luck at TE.

Anthony Hill gets activated. 3 TE's is enough.

Casey is out at Indy after arthroscopic knee surgery. Dreessen and Hill are only 2 healthy TEs on roster and I'm not even sure if Hill is healthy, hasn't he been on injury report pretty much every week? Also, has he gotten in any games so far?

I don't believe Hill has played a single down yet. He also was the first player to be diagnosed with the Swine flu a few weeks ago.

I wouldn't mind the Texans looking at the following guys:

Mark Bruener UFA Houston Texans
Desmond Clark UFA Chicago Bears
Ben Troupe UFA Oakland Raiders
Scott Chandler UFA (Cut) San Diego Chargers
