I've been contemplating ways to help improve the short yardage situations, and I think the Texans should take a play out of the Texas playbook. When we go goal line, and we need to pick up just a yard or two... put in 6 OL (replacing one TE with an OL), motion caldwell (or similar blocking TE), Okam at FB, and Leach at HB. Straight up ISO. It won't be pretty, and it wouldn't get a nice YPC average if it were ran in the open field, but I think it would be very effective in a 4th and goal from the half yard mark.
