Gus Johnson and Steve Tasker ain't callin' ALL our games!!
It's so refreshing to not have to hear one guy bust one in
the booth all game long, and the other guy say "Gus" 200 times.

I wonder if Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will be calling the game Sunday? Baltimore vs Cinci is the only other CBS game that I can see them calling.

I'd actually take Gus Johnson and Steve Tasker over the other analyst.... They're my favortie crew (I really like the excitement Gus has for the game and Steve Tasker aint bad either)....but to each his own.

I like Gus Johnson. His enthusiasm is great. He gets more excited about big plays than half the Texans fans I am watching the game with.

Yeah, i like them. The ones we've had in the previous weeks have really sucked.

I still don't know. They show signs like:

Most 3 and outs in the league.
Schaub leading in passing.
AJ leading in receiving.
Most importantly a winning record.

I would say we have turned the corner from being a doormat to a team that any team in the league needs to take very, very seriously.

Next step, turn the corner to a team that most teams in the league expect to lose to.

Next step, a team folks are disappointed in for not making the play-offs.

So many steps.

Yep. The way I see it we haven't turned any corner yet, but we have at least started braking. Next we flip on the turn signal and start turning the steering wheel.

We've turned the corner when we consistently beat the Colts or give them games to remember. JMHO. Until we beat the Colts, we're just another good team in the NFL. Just like in the old days with the Oilers. It was us and the Steelers.

I've heard Gus and Steve long enough for them to grow on me, but they
are CBS's bottom-barrel announce team. For the last couple weeks, we've
gotten their middle-of-the-road group. Next week, it's Kevin Harlan and
Solomon Wilcots.

I like him too. I think his emotional calls bring spirit to the game. I can do without the monotones like Buck and the dude who called the Pack/Vike game yesterday. Show me some enthusiasm, like you're actually watching the game rather than just calling it and I'll listen.

I don't know. Its hard to say that Indy hadn't turned the corner, even though for years they couldn't beat the Pats.
