I remember seeing Sanchez eat us up on opening day. I remember watching the players dump gatorade on Rex Ryan, and him joking it up with his team.
They looked like the team who had found a QB, and a defense, and a better head coach. The went on the road and beat a team that everyone picked as the sweetheart team for the playoffs this year. And now? Ouch. What a difference a few weeks makes.

they're 4-4 with a rookie QB and a rookie coach and some key injuries. they don't look that bad.

On offense, Sanchez was making plays with his feet AND his arm. He beat the pressure. He made the right calls. That end-of-the-game heave he threw up vs. the Dolphins was a telling sign: He's hitting a wall. He doesn't utilize his awesome TE (Keller) like he should. They're not out of it, not by a long shot. But they should have beaten the Dolphins. Giving up two big special teams plays is brutal.

for 1, they lost that beast in the middle cris jenkins for the season i believe..u know, that guy that was throwing myers around like a rag doll. That's a huge loss for a defense which is why they haven't been as dominant there. 2nd, he IS a rookie. You should've figured that at some point teams were going to game plan to make him beat them. We just unfortunately couldn't do it. |

remember, they just destroyed the Raiders last week, 38-0. they may be inconsistent, but that's what you expect with a team like this. |

My main point here is that the guy is hitting a wall. The whole team is losing steam, too. Look, if I think I'm insulting your Dolphins by saying you guys didn't beat a good team...then that's not what I'm doing here. With the show Ginn Jr. put on today, I think we're seeing why Miami passed on Amobi Okoye right before our slot in round 1. As a team, from week 1 to today, the Jets have slid down pretty far. And Sanchez's play is getting more helter-skelter each week. Minus the Oakland game, which is nullified because it's the Raiders.

yes yes it was the raiders, whatever, they still beat them down, the Eagles lost to them and the Chargers barely beat them today, it's not an easy task to beat another NFL team by 6 scores.
i don't think you're insulting the dolphins at all. i just think you bought into the New York/ESPN hype too much. and i don't see where you see Sanchez "hitting a wall." |

It seems to me he did his job today. He didn't give up 14 points on special teams.
