How many times has Antonio Smith almost gotten a sack? I swear he's THIIIS close to a sack atleast 2-3 times a game

Is this a good or bad thing?

Our dline is awful. The whole bunch of them.

Sorry, but maybe I am over-reacting. Just very frustrated that or dline seems to give a nice pocket to the opposing QB. Only the incompetence of Shaun Hill saved us today, folks. THAT, and that Singletary let him play the whole first half.

not sure all I can think of is the shouting match between kollar and Smith in training camp

guess it depends on the P.O.V.

QB pressures are always a good thing.

For the record, Mario has 3 sacks on the season while 39 year old Zgonina has 2. Mario's got to step his game up.

The epitome of Antonio Smith's season was the almost sack of Alex Smith which went for a 8 yard QB scramble, so frustrating!!!

Not being able to run the ball means we cant chew up clock and we give them the ball back too fast.

In turn it makes our defense tired and the great D from the first half got shredded in the 2nd half though Alex Smith deserves alot of credit too.

Oddly the only time that we had success running the ball was when they expected it.

We prepared all week for Shaun Smith being the QB and we looked stellar vs. him when he was in the game

I chalk up most of their 2nd half success to Alex Smith coming in without being studied beforehand
