Why can't the Offense pick up where they left off?

That's what I was thinking for the last few weeks...... The defense looks like they are coming around, and will be something special.

But the offense.. can't run.. start slow.. can't put together 4 Qtrs...


Then I'm watching NFL network..... & the Texans lead the league in TD passes. We're top 5 in yards & points...

That's better than last year, when we only led the league in offensive yards.

Unfortunately, in the end, the only stat that really means anything is the W-L record, which has not been too kind to us thus far.

Yeah, the O has had problems and the D is coming around, but the defense is that cost us than the offense earlier in the season. This is the best ball we have been playing all year(right now) let's hope to build on it 2moro and hit these Niners in mouth...

I am going to be genuinely shocked if this team doesn't win at least 10 games, barring some catastrophic injuries.

we only play 2 more teams that are better than us: Indy and NE. When is the last time we could take a sober look at the schedule and see that we are clearly a better team than most of our opponents? NEVER, until now.

This is what happens when you have the youngest starting roster in the NFL...inconsistency

Plus offense is all about rhythm, without a consistent running game, it's hard to maintain rhythm. Last year we could run the ball, but we just sucked in the redzone. This year we've been pretty good in the redzone. but we suck at running the ball.

Oh well, hopefully with Kubiak finally admiting we have to pass to set up the run...we'll fix alot of our problems and the offensive production we saw against Cincy is the offense we'll see for the rest of the season.


Also it's worth mentioning that when you lose two starters on your Oline for the season early on, that can't be good at all for your offensive cohesiveness.

I wouldn't sleep on Miami....

Chad Henne is a wildcard. He could be the big arm that, that offense needed to put it over the top. That team is coming on strong.....they should've beat us last year and they always play us tough, even when they were 1-15

It's definitely a first, but we still need to consistently win those games against teams we should beat. We win more of those than we lose, but there's always one (Raiders last year) that we lose. It all starts in 6 hours and 40 minutes. Put this team away early and don't let it come down to executing on the goal line.

I'm not suggesting we will win all those games. Just simply that it's nice to look at the schedule and be able to say, "these guys aren't better than us"
