Plain and simple. No matter how hard we battle on O, D or ST we just can't win when we need to. We're always a play away and we always come down on the losing side of things. And I'm just talking about the 2009 season. By the way did anyone notice the Jags got beat by 40?

We will be 3-6 during the bye week.
@Cincinnati - Loss San Fran – Loss (although we might win this one) @Buffalo – Win @Indy – Loss So we are 3-6 (maybe 4-5) during the bye week. Titans - Win Indy – Loss (maybe we pull this out) @Jacksonville – Loss (Jags punk us for a road loss) Seahawks - Win @Rams - Win @Dolphins - could go either way Patriots - Loss if the Patriots care, if they take the week off because they already have secured their playoff spot, we might win. So I’m thinking about what I originally predicted, somewhere in the vicinity of 7-9 to 9-7 at the end of the season. More of the same old **** we got last year.

Well, prior to this week, people were complaining about the lack of offense in the 2nd half. Today they scored 21 in the 2nd half. Which is it? Slow starts or slow finishes?

Players play the game. Coaches tell them what to do, but you can bet your ass Kubiak didn't tell Schaub to throw an out route that late. That's Football 101, man. An INT on an out route is almost always a pick six. You can bet Kubes didn't tell Schaub to sail the pass to Dreesen that high. Fire Kubiak. Fine, I'm good with that. You'll get no argument from me. because results are what it's all about. But you know what? About 2/3 of this team needs firing moreso than Kubiak does. And the next coach will do precisely that. And again, I quote Herv in my sig - these players suck.

Yes, I know we've been doing this for 8 years. But it's not like we picked up where we left off last year.... which is what most of us were thinking we would do. At least offensively. We should have picked up where we left off last year, when we knew the strength of the offense was the receivers (including OD). That hasn't changed, but we still try to run the ball. Our opponents should expect us to throw the ball on our very first snap of the game. But they don't. They know we will try to force the run. Defensively, we knew that defense that was improving at the end of the year was going to be different at the start of this season. We weren't expecting what we got, but it is definitely different. I think our defense will be respectable from here on out. IF Kubiak & Shanahan get their heads out of their.... you know. Our offense will lead the league. & our team will roll......

For this team, yeah. Other teams turn over personnel as necessary to make rapid turnarounds. ATL and MIA come to mind most recently.

+ 1. I see teams with equal or lesser talent in the playoffs every year since Kubiak has been here. Lets just stop with the excuses and win consistently so we can get in the playoffs already!!!
