Johnson and Henne played like 3 combined quarters this season.
both were drafted last year, and both are starting next week. looking forward to seeing them play. |

also i think Johnson may be the first QB younger than me to start a game in the NFL. *sigh* starting to get old. i like his game, though. big, quick delivery, and very mobile. very different game than Leftwich. should be fun. he may play himself into an intriguing future camp battle between himself and Josh Freeman

Pretty sure these are official. Russell has a QB rating in the 30s right now...league average is somewhere around 50
.

I like me some McNabb, but his current play hasn't been all that hot -- he hasn't played since Week 1. 7th seems way too high for him. Also I have not been impressed with Brady, who has been way less than stellar so far this year IMO.
Since this seems a decent thread to do it, here's my biggest surprises so far: Joe Flacco has been very solid. Kyle Orton has his team at 3-0 and has yet to turn it over. Matt Ryan was no fluke. Mark Sanchez might have been worth the cost. My biggest busts? For "guys who were supposed to be good" I'd list Cassel, Brady, Cutler, and Romo. For "guys I'm not surprised they suck" I'd say Matt Stafford, Brady Quinn, Jake Delhomme, and Jamarcus Russell. |

Schaub is 4th in QB rating, 2nd in TDs thrown, 8th in yards, 14th in completion pct, but somehow he ends up @ 17th overall? How are these official?

I have a hard time believing there are that many QBs playing better than Flacco and Schaub right now.

I'd put Peyton and Brees (and not necessarily in that order) ahead of anyone. After that there's a few that I'd consider for 3rd best, with both of the names you mentioned among them. And I totally agree that there is no way that both of them are in the bottom half of NFL QB's.

My top 5 would be:
1. P.Manning 2. Brees 3. Flacco 4. Schaub 5. E.Manning You can make an argument for Schaub over Flacco, but his higher YPA, and Attempts per first down, trump Schaubs 1 extra TD, and more explosive plays IMO.
