This is from Pro Football Weekly from a couple of weeks ago....I bolded the part that mentions the Texans...scroll down.
Senior Bowl Q&A Five minutes with ... Auburn RB Cadillac Williams By Trent Modglin (tmodglin@pfwmedia.com) Jan. 29, 2005 Carnell “Cadillac” Williams, one of the most exciting players in college football, was an All-SEC performer as a running back and return man in leading Auburn to a 13-0 season and No. 2 ranking in 2004. He has been one of the most popular players this week at the Senior Bowl, held in his home state of Alabama, and is a virtual lock as an early first-round pick. Q: What have the tests been like with the NFL personnel? A: Those are fun, meeting with the GMs and different coaches I’ve seen on TV and grew up watching. Those went real well. They basically just ask you about different kinds of things in your life. Q: I heard you got the nickname “Cadillac” in high school? A: Yeah, it started in high school, my junior year. A guy was writing about a football showdown up my way, and he just said I ran smooth, like a Cadillac, and it just carried over. Q: What has been the most challenging thing for you this week? A: I think just coming out and getting over that nervous point, trying to impress all the different coaches and scouts that were out here. I know every minute I’m being watched, so just trying not to mess up or get all that nervous. Q: Has it been a little overwhelming working with Coach Gruden and the pro coaching staff? A: No doubt, man. Coach Gruden and his staff, it’s a nice staff. I can see how they won the Super Bowl. It’s a great organization, and I can see how they win ballgames. They have a good staff, and it really has been overwhelming being able to work with them. Q: What do you have going on between now and the draft? A: I’m out in Arizona, working out, just preparing for the Combine. Run fast, lift, do all the things they require of me. Just try to wait this thing out and see what happens. Q: What’s the longest test you’ve taken this week? A: Actually, my longest one was two-and-a-half hours with the Houston Texans. It was actually a little fun, though. They did different things where they’ve got you throwing bean bags and doing all these kinds of psychological things that they come at you with, so it was kind of exciting. That was one of the best tests I had. Q: What was the throwing bean bags about? A: It was about reaction. Then they put some goggles across your eyes and tried to make you throw them in the trash. The goggles were kind of like a magnifying glass. I was way off. And when I say way off, I mean way off. Q: Did it feel like you were partying on Bourbon Street with those on or what? A: (Laughs) Man, I don’t know. It was definitely something I’ve never experienced. Q: Some (potential top picks) decide to sit out a game like this and not risk an injury. What was your thinking when you decided to come here this week? A: My thing was to just come out here and do the best I could do and showcase my skills and show every team in the NFL what I’ve got to offer and why they should draft me. I saw it as upside because I have full confidence in my ability. I know I can play this game of football, so I felt like if I came down here healthy, I was going to improve (my standing). Q: There are a lot of Auburn jerseys around town this week, aren’t there? A: Oh yeah. No doubt. There are a ton. You can tell we went 13-0. |

lol.. thats great
making him throw beanbags in a trash can with magnifying glasses over his eyes. I honestly wonder if they throw this junk in the tests just to get their kicks . Would be interesting if we got Cadillac.. he isnt very big though is he? |

yah.. it would kinda disappoint me if we got Cadillac. Ronnie Brown or Eric Shelton are more what I think we need.

Question...who would be the odd man out if we use a high pick on a RB. Wells seems like he is finding his way back and are we ready to give up on a 2nd round pick in Hollings even though he hasn't shown much?

I think the backs will be Davis, Hollings and (fill in the blank) next year. Wells played better last year but I am not real high on his finesse running style in a 240 pound body.

I think Wells will be here.. as Arlington said.. he is a good special teamer. More importantly though.. he is the only RB we have who DOESNT have injury problems.

So out of all of the RBs who should be available in rounds 2-4 who is the biggest and hits the hole hardest?...because that is who I vote for.
