This early morning I woke up to a scenario that I must have been suppressing and denying when the sun is up. One that really hasn't been discussed........or for that matter brought up......at least, not in any overt manner.

What would the Texans be with an injured Mario.........without Mario? It's unthinkable. Welcome to my nightmare.........

I dunno, but I honestly think DeMeco is closer to being the one indispensable player on the defense, and I'm not for a moment discounting Marios value to the team as our primary edge-rusher.

if somethin happened to 59, Zac could step in and do a good job, we dont have anyone that can replace Mario's contributions to our team

I didn't enjoy Andre being absent for half of '07. I don't think a second time around would be any better.

EDIT: "Starting RB Chris Brown" also doesn't do anything for the ol' nervous system either.

Ahhh Cloak, that's not a real nightmare. Let me give you one that already kept you awake one night.

Mario gets a severe Lisfranc injury, with a blown up 2nd metatarsal, and his surgeon wants to "fire a pin" through the whole works in order to fix it.

Now, how's that for a nightmare?

Seriously? Why start a thread like this. It is not like this franchise has had enough bad Karma you tought you needed to create more? It is no wonder that this board is full after a loss and empty after a win.

Those who were there, that awful, awful, scary 15 minutes last month know exactly what it would feel like. I can't put it into words but I can tell you it didn't feel good. I would imagine Mario would invoke a similar reaction.

Seriously though, I think we've seen the outcome of the original questions (I'm not going to actually say it) back in 2006. Back when Mario played hurt.
