Now if anyone would know whether the scheme has been really changed or not, it would be Demeco. Zac Diles said the same thing in another interview.

And I don't they are playing semantics here.

And just where is written in stone that you actually have to change the entire scheme, and/or philosophy in order to be more aggressive? Considering the way the defense played tonight, i have to echo what someone else said ..

What I thought when I heard it was it seemed an effort on his part in the name of camaraderie solidarity, and belief to say simply "we're different."

It goes right along with what the Texans have been saying since the end of last season. They have the personnel, now the attitude is there. I might be a sucker but all I have seen is they are speaking from the heart.

The results are all that matters. If they are playing better and can get to the QB better, then we are good.

In talking to the players, they will tell you the differences.

Check out the videos on the TT.com front page. The DT position in particular is going to be more upfield.

Also, Mario says that the movement on the line will be less lateral. June says that this is an extremely aggressive defense because they will be playing ton of man and he sees them bringing blitzes from all over the place and disguising things better.

I will be interested to see if the safeties can hold up to playing more 4-3 under, and whether they can keep contain on QB runs. They struggled so badly with containing the QB last year that Jeff Fisher actually had designed runs against the Texans using Kerry Freaking Collins.

They need Cushing back--he looked beast mode in practice before he got hurt--being around the ball and the QB. Lots of pressure.

Well we finally have the personnel to be more aggressive, at least with the front 7. I'm hoping that means we finally see more blitzes and different looks.
