I just saw a blurb that he was signed on rotoworld.com and they signed Caldwell too:

I was talking to a football coach from Rice the other day at the bar and we were talking about James Casey, he was saying the dudes a freak athletically. The comment that stuck out was that he said Casey could throw the ball 60 yards standing still, without stepping into it. I asked him if he was going to be the QB for Rice if he came back but he said Casey was so important in other positions it would have been tough to move him there. He did mention Casey being excited to be on the Texans and possibility of the Wildcat with him and David Anderson. Yes, he did say Anderson which I thought was weird.

He's been signed as well. It's stated above in dalemurphy's post as well as the link.

Wait... the link says they have only reached a contractual agreement. Contracts will be signed on Monday.

That's how it usually goes. They announce that terms have been agreed to, then the deal becomes official soon after.

Casey has already confirmed he's agreed in principle on his Twitter page, so that's good.

Excellent news! While Casey will be a solid addition, I think Caldwell may be our starting Center this season. Its good to see him ready to go. Do the rookies have to sign a contract to come to camp or does it just have to be a "deal in principal"?

Good to see that both of them won't miss any camp time. I like the addition of Casey, but like awt suggested I think Caldwell could push Myers for the position as the year goes on. I'm excited about the prospect of having a C that will be strong at the point of attack and I think Myers at depth is a HUGE plus for the team.
