Default A Tale of Two Running Backs.

Nice article on Steve Slaton and "Every Coaches Dream" from the Titans.

Slaton:

Pure class IMHO.

"Every Coach's Dream" is a douche.

that was a good read. And it made me like Slaton a bit more. I'm glad we have him.

Classy guy. Its clear which one of those is getting a big head, and which one is keeping his feet on the ground. As a RB you are never supposed to leave your feet so it seems Slaton is on the right track.

Dream?
Nah, it's a reality for Kubiak and nightmares for other HCs, DCs!
Needs to improve on pass pro though.

I like this article.

However, the blog over at ESPN by Khuarsky (clearly a tit homer), prefers his article between CJ and MJD and completely discards Slaton alltogether in the RB talk. As if CJ should be elevated over Slaton in discussions after each has only had 1 good rookie season. Pfft.

I love the inane comments such as CJ (who goes 200 lbs and finished the season at 190 lbs) is the better back because MJD (who goes 208 lbs) is too small.
