South Carolina WO Troy Williamson, who is expected to be the No. 2 or 3 receiver selected in this year’s draft behind Michigan’s Braylon Edwards, had dinner with Washington Sunday night and has also slated a meet-and-eat with Dallas this week in Mobile at the Senior Bowl. The Redskins, who pick No. 9 in April, and Dallas, which picks No. 11, are both said to be in the market for a difference-making wide receiver and may be targeting Williamson. Any thoughts?

Every year there's a guy who shoots up into the top 10. Williamson didn't play in a pass heavy offense, but his 7 TD catches went for an average of 45 yards. That's the kind of big play ability that gets the NFL's attention.

It's very feasible for him to go top 10...If he has a good combine, and Mike Williams doesn't, it's almost guaranteed...

It seems that with Edwards and Williams in the top 10, Williamson will not go that high. And even if Williams has a bad work out he has more name value than Williamson, which has to count for something when GMs are looking at who to pick.
