Yo Vinnie is there a way we could start a website and magazine and go to the Senior Bowl on business. Then write it off as a business expense. I'm going to get laid off anyhow its time to turn over a new leaf. What if we got Budwieser as a sponsor I could endorse them I use their product.
earl- thats funny except for the "laid off anyhow" part, sorry about that.

seriously, Alex Smith stock has soared over the course of the weeks since he announced going PRO, even in my first mock I had Green Bay wishfully getting him as Farve's replacement. Heath Miller is a solid TE but nothing that warrants anything but a late 1st round pick in my opinion, maybe to a team like the Steelers. Carlos Rogers stock has fallen because of his soft cover skills, that doesn't mean he can't improve once the Combines conclude with a solid outing but as of right now late 1st to early 2nd seem about right.

GBN definitely liked this guy:
"In the end, Washington OT Khalif Barnes got our highest grade among the offensive linemen; Barnes was both athletic and feisty. Indeed, there's a bit of a buzz that Barnes could have pushed himself into a first round pick."

I’ve seen several small-school players down here with their agents, as well as a handful of others from Division I programs who are looking for exposure. Just because you’re not invited to play in the game doesn’t mean you can’t be seen and interviewed by the hundreds of NFL people down here. I had a chance to talk to Adrian McPherson, the former Florida State quarterback who was kicked off the team for disciplinary reasons a few years back. He landed on his feet in the Arena League, and scouts say he’s got a definite future in the NFL now that he has turned his life around. Leigh Steinberg, “agent of the quarterbacks,” represents him if that tells you anything.

All this will change after the combine and personal workout sessions. It want be as drastic as it use to thanks to Mike Mamula DE Boston College 4.6 40 out of the league in 4yrs. after he was like the 6th pick. ooops.
When the big three RBs and CBs line up for their 40 yd. dash I wonder how much moneys at stake.

Looks like we won't be seeing Mitchell or Orlovsky today. Out with the flu.

JJ Arrington may be a product of his wide open spread offense the same way the backs in run and shoot schemes produce big numbers.

What's with the DB's playing 10 yards off the WR's?

It works so far. One pick and a nice break up on a 3rd down pass in the first two series.

Jason Campbell throws well on the run, and I am real impressed with his pocket awareness. Both the Georgia WR's can play.

Campbell looks like McNabb or Culpepper out there, look at him shaking all those pass rushers. I didn't want to go too far and call him Vick, there is just no comparison there.

Baas has looked impressive at C. He really hasn't been pushed back at all. Also Hawthorne looks pretty good at DT. He had been slow all week in practice. Looks like the game is bringing out the best in him.
