Now this is something us texan/titan fans usually agree on. MANNING IS A CHOKE. I THINK BOTH OF OUR TEAMS SWEEP THEM NEXT YEAR AND THEY GO 7-9. i know 49 td passes but whats that to a super bowl?

You know, everyone was saying that Manning was the second comming of Dan Marino, but, Dan doesn't have a SB ring either.

It's like this. Manning IS the second coming of Dan Marino because he doesn't have a SB ring.

Manning is the 2nd coming of Marino in the regular season (good) and the playoff's (bad, though not entirelty either QB's fault). Manning won't win a ring. However though Manning and Marino are similar here's something to think about. Manning has 3 great WR's , good TE's and a great running back solid line. He also has an improving defense that played better down the stretch. Against the Pats they held them to 20, their offense should have been able to score at least 20 if Manning had what it takes to win. Marino's supporting cast was Mark Clayton and who? His running backs were Bernie Parmelee, Kareem abdul jabar, etc. Marino did more w/ less. Manning can't beat a good defense in a pressure game to save his life.

And the Pats like alot of teams are a blade of grass and a bad footstep from going 4 and 12. Now we are saying Manning can't win a superbowl ring? The guy is at his peek and you are already going to write him off? Philly has lost 3 straight NFC Title games, but people still keep predicting they will win each year. Peyton Manning has lost to the Pats in the playoffs twice, and now he'll never win the Superbowl. The Pats might go down as the greatest dynasty in football if they keep it up. And He's probally got 4 more years of prime football left in him. Harsh, really harsh.
