- When it is all said and done, expect Malcolm Jenkins to be drafted before Vontae Davis - The Bengals apparently love them some Andrew Whitworth and they like him enough to potentially play him at LT. However, that doesn't mean that they won't take a look at tackle in this year's draft. Hmmmmmm. - Michael Crabtree will NOT go to the Oakland Raiders. If the Bengals don't draft him at #6, he's not going at #7 to Al Davis. - Fans are getting excited over USC LB Clay Matthews, Jr. but his value was as a 2nd rounder. He's not much of a "value pick" if he goes inside the first round since some teams think he has to play in a 3-4 and they are worried about him being just a one-year starter. - While some teams don't like his height, Wake Forest CB Alphonso Smith is now the front-runner to be taken as the third DB in the draft. - There will be at least six tackles taken in the first round and there is at least a better than 50/50 chance that Phil Loadholt, Eben Britton and William Beatty all get drafted in the first along with Oher, J. Smith, A. Smith and Monroe. - USC QB Mark Sanchez has 0% chance of falling outside of the top 20. - Alabama safety Rashad Johnson is picking up some steam and will probably land in the 3rd round while some teams are worried that W. Michigan safety, Louis Delmas will break down because he plays too physically for his size.

Well, it just seemed like a "Duh" type comment. Like saying Mathew Stafford will be selected before Graham Harrel.
I figured there had to be something more to it.

LOL, no I know exactly what you meant and felt the same way. There's always surprises but it'd almost be like saying "BJ Raji will be the first DT taken"

After running a couple of 4.5s there was talk that Jenkins might have to play FS. That had some people thinking that because of that Vontae Davis moved ahead of Jenkins.

I think the combine hurt Davis more than Jenkins anyway.

I have the same concern that Matthews is soaring too much. I like a guy who has proven it on the field like James Laurinitis.
