It's just a case of trying to figure out which one of the tweeners will be
the next great edge rusher in an NFL 3-4. Here's a guy, Shawne Merriman out
of Maryland, who looks to have tremendous potential. Kiper says he might be mid first round. If the Texans staff liked him as much as Kiper and he was still
on the board @ our 2 round pick... I dunno, Casserly says you never can have
enough QBs, I say if you run a 3-4 you can never have enough LBs.

interesting prospect, can't wait to see how he does at the combine

definitely someone to look at it if available in the 2nd round

Kiper has him at 12 or 13 on his big board, so maybe 2nd round is out of question. but you never know, randy starks was suppose to be gone by mid 2nd at the latest and wound up going in the third to the titans.
