Anybody else watch any of the Valero Bowl last night from SA ?
I was interested in doing some "scouting" for the Texans Draft and was particularly interested in Mizzou's QB Daniels (long-term back-up for Schuab) and safety Moore. Neither impressed me much,
but this LB from Jasper, TX wowed me ! What an athlete !
I dunno if LB is a huge need for us (DLine & DB probably more important), but this guy is a tremendous talent with a big-time motor.

He made some nice plays against Northwestern, and let them know about it. I found that interesting, and soft. The player I want in the 3rd round is Coffman, since we will continue to be a finesse team in the red zone in my opinion.

He's been on scouts radars for a while now. A potential first day prospect. He has slipped some recently, as have all of the Mizzou players. Some of them will be solid NFL guys though.

Get him out of the Big XII North. I don't care if he isn't eligible. Get him away from my school. Kid is cluth, and unfortunately, for the wrong team. He will be a good pro.

I really liked his play last night. If he's there on the 2nd day I think we should take a look at him. He seems kind of small though. Would he play where Adibi is at? Could probably be a good back up or force some competition between he and Adibi and maybe start?

Weatherspoon really jump up out of the TV last night. Depending on his combine, could be as high as the 2nd and as late as the 4th. He plays bigger than Adibi, who seems to not be able to stay healthy, and would make an excellent WILL IMO.

I like his ability to play in the other teams backfield.


As for Moore they did say he has been injuried this season, ankle and ribs and has missed 4 games, I say drop baby drop.

I dunno, but I'd say that's a pure luxury we won't be indulging in because we're already set at TE with a young player taken in the 4th rounder and bigger team needs on the O side are for a complimentary RB to Slaton, a young QB to develope as Matts backup, and additional help on the OLine.

Sean Weatherspoon (OLB)got my attention. He'll go 1-2 round. He could take the place of the "promised" position of Diles, If the Texans pulled the trigger.
