Trojans frustrated, wanted Bowl Game with Big 12 or SEC

The Fiesta Bowl would have been able to pit Texas, which felt it should have been playing for the national championship by virtue of its win over Oklahoma, against the Trojans’ defense. If it was not quite Vince Young, Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush, this Rose Bowl redux would have been close.

The Little 10 & PAC 10 of crap are holding back a playoff system.

They are getting what they deserve.

Little 10 getting the crap kicked out of them every time they play in a championship game. Because they play in a weak confrence.

Pac 10 of crap getting frozen out of championship game because they are willing to take Rose Bowl money. USC is the only team from that confrence that could compete in the Big 12 or SEC.

Why is the Big East even in the BCS?

If you look at it in this light you could have said the same about the Big 12 a few years ago when it was pretty much UT and OU and no one else. the rise of Mizzou, OSU and Tech have made the Big 12 look so much better. Big East used to be a major player when the U was there along with BC and Va Tech. Pac 10 as well as the Big 10 also used to be the conferences to play in and had some of the best teams. It all goes in cycles with each conference.

Kansas WAS ranked #2 in the nation last year and won the Orange Bowl. Kansas is also playing Wednesday afternoon for 20 wins in 2 season. KU has done more the past 2 years than OSU or Tech, and Mizzou is a toss up. Just wanted to throw in my biased opinion and make sure my school gets a fair mention.

From a guy in advertising though, USC vs. UT would be marketing gold

As a Trojan fan I'll even admit they aren't National Title worthy but with the many upsets this year its hard to say Texas, Florida, or Oklahoma are any more qualified

Also, the Trojans should be frustrated. I would hate to go to the same bowl game every year. I vote we kick the Rose Bowl out of the BCS system if they don't agree to re-structure and restore the Cotton Bowl.

Also, USC is a much better team than Cinci or VT. What a awful game it will be for ratings. USC lost one game in what, week 4? They slipped, but so did Florida. They lost to an unranked team as well. USC dominated everyone else they played. They demolished UVA on the road to open the season. They demolished tOSU. They held teams scoreless and staked a claim to one of the greatest defenses of college football in the last 20 years. They have some serious gripe.

I almost feel that I should remove every team on here but UT and OU. Almost all the teams in the Big 12 have either sucked or had a good run for a few years. Look im not trying to piss you off or anything

it's true, the only way we'll ever see a playoff is if the Rose Bowl loosens its grip on the two conferences

You play in a "B" level conference that doesn't even have a championship game - well you get what you deserve. Try playing in a conference where your biggest challenge isn't Oregon State and that has a championship game, and surrender the Rose Bowl money and maybe you can play with the big boys.
