After carefully perusing the NFL standings, strength of schedule, the Week 17 lineup, and my horoscope, I've determined that the Texans may draft from anywhere between the 11th and 15th slot in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft. The following scenarios are:
11th - If Texans lose & Bills win 12th - If Texans & Bills lose 13th - If Texans, Skins, & Saints win 14th - If Texans win, and either Skins or Saints lose 15th - If Texans win, and both the Skins & Saints lose I'm going to guess that the Texans will be drafting from the Lucky 13th spot, with the Texans, Skins, and Saints all winning on Sunday.

Nice work. If we do pick from the 13th spot, I pray we don't trade down. We all know what happened last time.

Damn, I can't believe we're going to end up picking after the Skins... wth happen to that team.
Back to 15... still in favor of trading back and picking Greg Hardy. Might pick him right at that spot depending on workout/draft stock rising though. |

Maybe we have to see what positions are deeper. If the quality of Safeties are short as the quality of DE's are long..that means we may have a good shot in getting a quality DE in the 2nd round and get our Safety in the first round...

I believe Suggs would be a very good addition. Chris Gamble(CB Panthers) would also be great. Adibi, and Diles should be a great force next year....Grab Moore or Mays if we get Suggs and if we don't get Suggs we got to address our DE in the draft, along w/ C;OG;CB.and a physical Runningback to compliment Slaton...OH Congratulations to Steve Slaton for winning the Rookie Rushing Title!!!

I'll pass. Pick one in the draft and go get him. Lots of dead cap money with those three free agent jewels.
