Default Ian Johnson RB Boise State

Watching the Boise vs Fresno game and I think this kid would be a good addition to the Texans to team up with Slaton. Not the fastest, but a tough inside runner who comes from a WINNING program. Will probably be available in the later rounds. Thoughts.

He's definetly a McNair kind of guy. He also does a great job of one cut and go.

Definitely. Good family guy who seems to have his head on straight.

Vince Young also came from a winning program.

Johnson seems like a great kid, but I don't think he has the talent for the NFL.

If we go RB we would be best served going for a guy like Shonn Greene or that kid from Liberty.

If we draft him, I'm definitely buying one of his beanies.

VY came from a winning program, but I don't think his head was on straight when he left school. Johnson is married and settled down. More likely to stay the straight and narrow.

Wasn't Travis Henry married when he came out of college?

I'm not saying Johnson isn't likeable. I just don't think he has the talent to be a NFL back.

I like Ian Johnson and think he can have a decent career in the NFL, but not with the Texans. He's not what we're looking for as he fits the same skillset as Slaton. What does he have that Slaton already doesn't?

I saw Coffee from Alabama play today. Wow! I wouldn't mind getting that guy. Where is he projected to go?
