Well, we are sitting at 3-7 and out of the playoff hunt in November...again.
That being said, we have an interesting showdown against Brady Quinn and the 4-6 Browns on Sunday. The Browns looked decent last night against the Bills; however, there best games this season have been on Monday night (thank God for our Sunday at noon kickoff). Does the fact that: (i) the Browns are starting a very young quarterback; (ii) don't seem to be able to stop the run; and (iii) B. Edwards still seems to be struggling to hold onto the ball give us hope for the win? Or are you convinced the likely freezing weather paired with our inept defensive play and a guaranteed Rosenfels mistake (or two...or three) will give us our 8th defeat of the season? I am going to go out on a limb and give the Texans a 31 - 17 win. Don't ask me how or why...just a gut feeling.

Why would you predict the Browns would only score 17 points?
We give up an average of 29 points per game.

Brownies - 38
Texans - 21 Offense plays okay. Defense lays a big ole' stink pickle out there.

I'm going to say the score is 31 to 28. Who wins could go either way

Disclaimer: If we were at home, I'd be inclined to flip the scores. But we're on the road. Brownies win.

It'll be like every other game we've played this year, the offense will score enough points to keep it close while the defense gives up more points than our offense can manage to put up.
And, of course, the obligatory interception our QB throws in the last two minutes of the game when we are on a possible game winning drive. 31 Brownies 27 Texans

I predict the Texans to win. Edwards' drops will help the defense immensely.
However, I expect the Texans to lose because it is a road game and they will somehow blow it. That pretty much leaves me with a foot in both camps.

I can guarantee that either the Texans or the Browns will win this game, unless it ends in a tie.

I'm trying a fine slice between prediction and expectation. If pressed I'll go with the Texans losing on the road with Brady Quinn looking like Joe Montana.

I see Edwards having a monster game. He is incredibly talented and soft. Talented and soft skill position players have a way of having huge games, and padding their stats, against awful defenses. I expect 12 catches, 200 yards and two TDs from Edwards.
Browns 37 Texans 31

I predict nothing! Don't really care. I just look forward to MNF, and Dec 14th. We win those two games and I'll rest peacefully until next year. I know, my optimism is in overload! MS should be back for the Titan game. Don't know if that's good or bad, but, at least he doesn't have end of the 4th quarter meltdown.
Come away from this game without a serious injury is all I want. A win gets us nothing, a loss gets us a better chance at a highter draft pick, and MAYBE a better chance at a new DC. Who knows. At this point in time all we can do is try to find some positives, somewhere! JMO! Save the win for the meatballs.

42-38 either way. Very high scoring game, with the last to have the ball winning. Unless its Sage down 4, then we throw a pick to end it all.

I predict a very stressful and frustrating time sitting on the sofa watching this game.

I think the Texans will win a very close game, 31-28. Only because the Browns are playing us on a short week. If it were here I would predict a blowout.

The sad thing is that last night, the Bills showed us how to effectively destroy the Browns offensive.---
Get to Quinn. When they rushed him hard, he made bad descisions, and threw at least a few balls up for grabs. Unfortunately, 1. We can't get pressure on opposing QBs 2. We blitz rarely and it never works 3. If we do get a ball thrown deep up for grabs, our DBs won't see it

If the weather is good it will be a high scoring game for sure. Both offenses are pretty good and both defenses suck. I can see a 35-31 game with us losing of course.

if the bills got decent pass rushes aganist the brownies then i excpet Mario and company will be on Brady like gangbusters all day get a few licks on him shake up the rookie
call me crazy but our secondary has been playing "better" lately and we dont have to worry about this game getting lit up by Manning hmm is demps playing this game our did he lose his starting role and i have no doubt our Offensive and ST can move the ball aganist them with ease there is no way there fatboy center whatever his name is can catch small Slaton & green i say the texs win this game with ease 40-13

Early forecasts have it snowing in Cleveland on Sunday. If Ahman is healthy for this game I'd like to see even less than 18 passes this time around.
