This is to all of us who aren't straying far from the comforts of our La Z Boys.

We have-
Leftover chili from the chili cookoff yesterday (I am working on the pics, Gary)
Some wrap sandwiches (again, leftover from yesterday)
Snack mix we didn't eat yesterday
Whatever else I drag home from HEB this morning.
Unshelled peanuts (will do the floors later)

What are all ya eating in front of the boobtube from noon til 3?

Chicken wings and little smokies. 2 small crocks of one with melted chocolate and the other carmel to dip with bananas, marshmallows, oranges, apples, strawberries and pineapple.

Had pork loin roast the other day. Taking the left over porkloin shred it add sweet Baby ray bbq sauce set aside. mix coleslaw with not so much coleslaw dressing set aside.
lay out large wonton wrapper on baking sheet spoon teaspoon of pork onto the center and then a teaspoon of slaw on top of that. wet edges of wonton with egg/water and fold like an eggroll. Continue until all made up. mix another egg and milk together and dip each porkroll and deep fry until nice and brown!!!!!!

If you havn't tried it, it will become a favorite! P.S. my blowup Texan is in the yard, my flag is flyin and I'm showered and dressed in my battle red jersey!

Ma made me a pot of black-eyes for good luck. Almost worked...sigh

How did the final tally go for y'all?

It was a nice roadie. Told Ma not to bring the clones but nooooo.

Made a pot of homemade soup and a pan of cornbread. Comfort food for a lousy football day.
