Capers' best year with us was 7-9 with a horrible loss with 8-8 on the line.
Kubiak's best year has been 8-8 with a gimmie game in week 17. IMO, Kubiak has had a lot more talent to work with, but really hasn't produced much more than the ole flytrap did. Thoughts? |

THIS YEAR

Kubiak for the simple fact that he hasn't laid a complete turd yet like the one Capers did in 05, but I believe he's well on his way.

capers was 18-46 in four seasons..
Kubiak is 17 - 24 partway through his third season as HC.. so far, the numbers tilt in kube's favor.

Hmmm, at this rate two more coaching staffs and we might have ourselves a contender.

it'd be cool if Kubiak could end up .713 considering how capers ended up.

The team hasn't quit on Kubiak yet, so right now I'd say Kubes...
I think Kubiak knows what it takes to win, I just don't know if he has the balls to do it... |

I fail to see how the last game last season was a gimmie game. Maybe you've forgotten how many of OUR starters were out of the game. There were a ton of them.
That said - it's too early to answer this. Capers has a longer resume. Kubiak hasn't even been a head coach for three seasons yet, and he inherited a total disaster. |

Why would you even ask this question, let alone think it? |

Kubiak all the way. Dom Capers gave me too many Jack Pardee flashbacks. Another thing is, Kubiak has killer hair.

I don't know... Kubiak has the offense light years ahead of what it was however Capers had the defense light years ahead of what it is now... reason I say that.. I couldn't imagine how refreshing it would be to have that defense on the field with the offense that we have
Not looking at stats .... I did feel sorry for Aaron Glenn and Walker and crew.. because the offense was so inept and in survival mode that at times it seemed like the defense was on the field for most of the game.. defense we have now can't stop anyone

The 05 defense was terrible ,the worst in football. Richard Smith isnt that bad.

I agree! I used to call Pardee "The Great Spectator". Capers used to have the same look in his eyes. Ha, funny. |

I'm just curious - where do you think Capers went after he left Houston?
